Do not take this the wrong way but dont you think you should get your site up and running first before you go looking for moderators you do not even have a basic directory structure down yet just saying .

Methen, don’t you think you should put a bit more energy into your own board before you start complaining about someone else's? You’ve had a board since 2008-ish which hasn’t exactly set the internet on fire

Methen - you are a phpBB3 refugee.
Everyone knows there are a lot of people who are not upgrading from 3.0 or 3.1 - that's potentially a lot more members who will eventually find this site.

Some people will just be watching first and then as more people start posting help questions the site will gather pace,

The positive I take from him asking for moderators early on is that those moderators will know if anyone is using 2 accounts to make the site look busy - so it shows honesty and transparency as am sure we all know of boards that are 'full of members' which is actually one guy sitting there talking to himself etc.
