why would you want to make it compatible with php7?

don't know for sure if this site is running 3.0 but there is no real reason to do so just because we are supporting 3.0+

If allowed, you can do this from your user control panel UCP.

visually there is very little difference between phpBB 3.0 and 3.3
under the hood there is a whole world of difference. there are thousands of code changes/updates .
